Peace of mind, just like internal agitation, originates at the mental level. Thought is a powerful tool for objectification of the conscious mind just as much as physical or emotional perturbation. Here are a few effective means to soothe the mind.
living in nature
being conscious of the present moment
practicing equanimity or letting go
moderate physical exercise
a hot bath or a hot foot bath
yoga, stretching or tai chi
massage or self-massage
physical and mental relaxation
natural hygiene, naturopathy, iridology, energy therapy
